Can you really do a summer of travelling without starting a
travel blog?
A few weeks back when I was sitting at home in England with
a lot of time on my hands I had the worlds best intentions to keep everybody
updated on what I was exactly doing with my time away. In the first couple of
days I started writing emails and text messages pretty much summing up the same
events in a very brief and awkward manner. No matter how hard I tried I just
could not help but think that they are totally not going to read this after the
first five paragraphs and they do not care how much I love fried tofu. Hence I
found myself avoiding replying to people out of fear of what to actually put.
When I write for myself I find that in the most in cohesive
way words end up on the page. I try and keep a diary most of the time so I can
plan my future procrastination of reading in through in a few years time. This
summer if definitely no different except I want to share it with people I know.
Hence I decided to start writing a blog so I could talk about my newly found
love for tofu and people are not forced to read about it if they do not want.
As well as for keeping anybody who really cares (aka nobody) updated on the
fact that I am still alive and well.
But yeah the first week and a half were written way after
the days as I am lazy and barely had the time to turn on my laptop let alone
type something up. Sorry for the ridiculous writing style in advance!
